Jangan mendewakan keyless, Yamaha TMAX DX saja lebih mengandalkan kunci gembok walau ada smartkey


Dari komentar di artikel sebelumnya, soal CBR250RR yang menjiplak fiturnya Ninja, terkesan bahwa fitur keyless itu adalah hal yang istimewa banget. Dan rasanya di Indonesia, motor pakai keyless itu rajanya motor yang paling aman banget.

Padahal kalau di luar negeri nggak sampai begitu, justru banyak berita yang meragukan keamanannya:

Disebutkan bahwa dari 237 mobil yang pakai keyless, cuma 3 yang nggak bisa dibobol pakai cara relay.

Tapi fitur yang dianggap nomer satu mencegah pencurian adalah gembok di sandar tengah:

Memang sih selain itu motor Yamaha TMAX DX dilengkapi fitur keamanan pakai GPS yang mestinya pakai langganan tahunan. Tapi fitur gembok itu yang bikin takjub. Dan nggak cuma website itu saja, website lain juga menyarankan pakai gembok juga:

Unik ya? Kalau di sini gembok justru dianggap remeh. Tapi keyless yang didewakan.

Pabrik sekelas Triumph pun kasih warning karena kebetulan sistem keylessnya mirip punya Tesla yang diperlihatkan bisa dibobol:

Triumph says that such a modus operandi could be used on their 1200 motorcycles, a range that works with the same technology as the one that Tesla uses. The manufacturer adds that the “keys” will not turn off immediately after leaving the vehicle, and can be scanned by thieves. Triumph’s advice for the owners of keyless motorcycles is to turn them off manually when leaving from where they parked the vehicle. This will shut off any communication between the two devices, leaving the hacker without one of the two elements needed to steal the bike.

This may reduce a bit the ease of use keyless motorcycles come with, but it’s the safest way to prevent being hacked. Both Triumph and Tesla are reportedly working hard to close these loopholes.

btw, lucu juga karena di luar negeri transmisi manual untuk mobil dianggap bisa mencegah pencurian juga, sehingga jadi iklan VW berikut:

Jadi fitur keyless di luar itu nggak dianggap sebagai hal yang wah dan wow keren lagi.

Seperti kita tahu bahwa Ninja 250 facelift itu dianggap dewa karena sudah pakai keyless:

Namun kalau di Inggris, kok penulis nggak nemu ya. Nggak kelihatan tulisan keyless atau smartkey di fiturnya Ninja 400? Padahal lampu eco disebut?

Tapi walau begitu tidak bisa dipungkiri, motor yang pakai smartkey atau keyless di Indonesia bikin yang punya bangga banget.

  1. lihat takometer ninja 400 itu seandainya angkanya ada lampu LEDnya yg bisa nyala hanya pada saat dilewati jarum penunjuk tako nya (pas waktu bergerak naik) pasti keren abis, macam H2.

  2. Karena disini mobil n motor keyless blom bisa dijebol sama maling (yg saya tahu)
    Apalagi pernah viral gsx-r150 gagal dimaling krn keyless nya ga bisa dijebol
    Ga tau kenapa dgn motor/moge nya, tapi diluar mayoritas mobil baru hampir wajib keyless

    • karena disini masih analog om blm digital, klo disana udh canggih maka nya digital. klo menurut gw paling manteb ya NSR250 model chip.disitu ada serial number yg kudu match. taruh lah 10 digit. mw brute force jg perlu berapa lama biar dapet meskipun sudah ada rainbow table nya.

      masa sih mw hack nya aja kudu bawa rig hi spec?

  3. hanya sekedar berbagi pengalaman:
    dulu motor ku hampir kemalingan, kunci kontak sdh bobol, dah lepas kunci stangnya, tp berkat sistem smartkey yg terpasang, motorku selamet nggak dimaling.
    aku pasang sistem smartkey krn temen kosan, motornya dimaling, motornya ninja 2 tak baru, sdh digembok banyak dan dirante, tp gembok dan rantenya hancur semua.
    cuma saat ini, sdh kulepas smartkey nya krn mengganggu kelistrikan dan sistem injeksi motor.
    skrng mengandalkan gembok di cakram dan di standar tengah. kebetulan new vixion standar tengahnya bisa digembok.
