Dan ternyata motor MotoGP Honda masih mudah crash hingga sekarang. Dan Marc pun tetap bilang bahwa crash memang harus dialami kalau mau kencang.
Alex menyebut ia melakukan rookie mistake:

“The crash, I was too optimistic,” Marquez explained. “Coming from the morning with a really good rhythm on track, I make the mistake of the rookie. “The grip changed quite a lot from the morning to the afternoon, then I was wide a little bit on the entry. But I was on a good lap, so I tried to come over to the good line. I was a little bit with too much lean angle on a dirty surface and the front closed.
Baik rookie atau tidak, jelas bahwa crash tersebut susah diprediksi. Apalagi Marc pun juga mengalami:
Just 10 minutes after that, Marc Marquez had a similar low-speed front-end crash at Turn 2.
Crutchlow juga nyaris crash:
“I nearly had one on the last lap,” Crutchlow said when asked by Motorsport.com if the front end was critical at Jerez. “That’s why I pulled out the lap. Exactly the same as Marc, I lost the front in Turn 2.
Disebut memang bagian depan motor Honda itu riskan:
“But you know Marc would continue to lean the bike over and try and save it, when I just let go of the brake and prayed that I stayed on the thing and I did. But it’s very critical, this is the Honda. The front of the bike is really, really critical to manage.
Disebut yang jadi keunggulan Honda itu ya disaat corner entry itu kalau ingin bisa menang. Tapi sekaligus kelemahanan karena rider harus memaksakan diri.
Ia mengendarai motor yang lebih mirip dengan versi 2019 karena dianggap yang versi 2020 masih belum siap.
Spanish MotoGP: Crutchlow on 2019 chassis, front-end still ‘critical’
“I used something different [2020 chassis] in the test on Wednesday and I decided to not continue with it. I think we need more time away from a race weekend to evaluate this a little bit more. The bike essentially now I am riding is very similar to the 2019 bike save for some small upgrades in the electronics and the engine, but the chassis and everything else is very much the same.
Marc sendiri pun kembali mengungkapkan bahwa kalau mau kencang di motor Honda itu memang harus sering crash. Karena memang butuh crash untuk bisa mengetahui limit dari motor Honda, seperti yang pernah ia ungkapkan ke Jorge Lorenzo tahun lalu:

“I already said a few times, it’s a bike which is quite difficult to understand where the limit is, and it’s difficult to learn. It’s what I said last year when Jorge [Lorenzo] started to complain, it’s a bike that if you want to understand where the limit is, you need to crash many times. How many times have I crashed during my career with a Honda? But then I keep my style. I try to understand the limit in practice, and find the limit, the lines for the race.”
Namun ia juga masih tidak paham mengapa ia mengalami kecelakaan:
“The crash was a bit strange, because it was not really that I was pushing too much. If you see the front ‘jumped’ because I lost the front a little bit, but then I missed the grip with the boot and my foot slid, and for that reason the bike jumped,” he said.
Intinya soal grip ban depan hilang itu si Alex menganggap itu adalah rookie mistake, si Marc menganggap itu aneh, si Cructhlow menganggap sudah penyakitnya motor Honda.
Dan sepertinya alasannya sama terus (untuk si Marc dan Cal). Karena sebelumnya mereka juga bilang begitu saat crash. Marc tetap bilang kejadian aneh. Crutchlow tetap bilang itu penyakitnya motor Honda.
Tapi kesannya jadi Marc nggak bisa memberi saran perbaikan.
